Roller Blinds

Roller blinds are a traditional, stylish and easy to operate choice for most window styles. The blind is simply rolled up or down to achieve the required level of shading for you, operated by either a side chain control or spring operation including the new ‘Soft Rise’ option, allowing the blind to retract slowly. Crank operation and motorisation are also options.

Through our extensive fabric suppliers we have a wide collection of designs and colours to complement and coordinate with any room in the home: from a statement blind in your living room, to a bedroom blackout or a water resistant print for the bathroom.

There are many hardware options to choose from to personalise your blinds, for example, you can choose to have your blind to roll up into a cassette, covering the top of your blind. There are different bottom bar options.

Further personalisation is available for your roller blind with a choice of bottom shapes and braids from contemporary straight to classic wave and castile shapes.

The Chain Tidy Device or Easy Break Connector will be fitted to comply with Child Safety Regulations required by Law.

CASSETTE

There are many different cassette options for your roller blind, 40mm open cassette, 70mm full fascia, or a closed cassette.

The 40mm open Cassette is available in 6 colours; White, Black, Anthracite Grey, Chrome, Beige and Satin.

The exciting thing about the Open Cassette is that it lets your creativity run wild – the Facia Section can either be left as it or can be dressed either with the Same Pattern or Material as the Roller itself.

For large windows or across bi-fold doors we can produce multiple roller blinds that sit in one cassette.

BOTTOM BAR

We have numerous options for bottom bars, for example, your fabric can be wrapped around the bottom bar, or, you can choose an exposed bottom bar. the Gemini bottom bar has an option of a curved side, or an angular side in a choice of 5 colours: White, Black, Anthracite, Silver or Chrome.

You can also choose different coloured end caps, for example you could have a black bottom bar with chrome end caps to give a really striking finish.

PERSONALISATION

Instead of a straight bottom bar you could opt for a scalloped edge, which can be paired with a decorative braid, or even a pole with a fancy finial.

You could choose to add eyelets to your blind.

Chain operated blinds can have plastic or metal chain options, and spring operated blinds have a wide range of pulls available.

BLOCKOUT

The Blockout Framing System is designed to block out 98% of light aiding in an easier nights sleep and satisfies the practical needs for complete darkness.

Research carried out by the University of Salford to test window energy loss reduction on modern double glazed low-e windows has shown that roller blinds fitted with side channels can reduce heat loss through windows by up to 22%.

PERFECT FIT

Roller blinds can also be fitted in the Perfect fit® frame. this requires no drilling or screwing during installation.

The frame attached to the window bead, and so moves together with the windows and doors when they are opened and closed, giving you the perfect combination of shade and ventilation.

There are 7 frame colours to choose from: White, Black, Anthracite, Matt Grey, Brown, Golden Oak and Mahogany.

CHAIN OPERATION

Your roller blind can be operated with a chain from either side of your blind. All chain operated blinds come with either a chain tidy or easy break connector to comply with child safety regulations.

SOFT RISE

Soft Rise is a form of Spring operation so works in the same way but with a slower retracting speed for smooth movement, stopping at a pre-set position

MOTORISATION

Our rollers can be motorised so without getting up from your seat, you can filter the daylight, increase your privacy and let daylight in, all at the push of a button.

We offer motors from various suppliers, all of whom have their own hubs, which allow the blinds to be paired to devices such as the Google home and the Amazon Alexa, allowing you to control your blinds by voice activation.
